Local Snowmobiling

Ontonagon County has 350 miles of groomed and marked trails for snowmobiling enthusiasts. The trails pass through some of the most beautiful scenery in the Midwest. The old railroad bed trails include historical railroad bridges high above the surrounding forest.

You will find gas, food, and refreshments right on the trail. The Upper Peninsula has 2,500 miles of interconnected trails and also connects to northern Wisconsin’s trail system.

Trails are open from December 1 through March 31, conditions permitting
